Day 1

We'll organize your transfer from the airport to your hotel.

Your exploration of the Inca civilization will start! You'll visit the Inca Sun Temple, also known as "Qorikancha", the Saqsayhuaman ruins which is an enormous wall complex, but also the historical center, the cathedral and the traditional market.

Comfortably installed in the city center, you'll be able to enjoy a nice evening in the historic capital of Peru.

Cusco - Maras - Moray - Cusco

Day 2

Today, you will visit the upper part of the sacred valley in a private transport.

You will discover the pre-Inca site of Moray, which probably was an agricultural laboratory at the time. You'll then arrive to Maras village, where time seems to have stopped during the colonial period. The next stop will at the Maras Salines where hundred of salt terraces form a great color scale going down the valley. 

Back to Cusco in the middle of the afternoon, you'll have time to enjoy the city by yourselves.

Cusco - Aguas Calientes

Day 3

2 options are possible for the third day :

The first one is a visit of the other part of the Sacred Valley and its archeological sites: Chincheros, Pisaq, and Ollantaytambo. It's in this last stop that you will be able to taste a traditional meal.

In the late afternoon, we will organize your transfer by train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas-Calientes (Machu Picchu's village). 

The second option consists in walking the Inka trail.

You'll leave in the morning to take the train which will take you to the 104th kilometer; the starting point of the trekking. This walk will take you to the Sun Door ( which use to be the entrance of Machu Picchu). It is a 5 to 7 hours trek in breathtaking sites.

Day 4

The fourth day will be the day of the visit of the famous Machu Picchu, one of the new 7 wonders of the world. After the visit, you'll be able to walk to different spots of the site for a couple of hours.

You'll be back at Cusco in the evening.

Cusco - Next destination

Day 5

We'll organize your transfer from Cusco to your next destination, it could be the Titicaca lake, or Puerto Maldonado in the jungle.
